My go-to make up products.

Below is a list of my go-to make up products that I use pretty much everyday. This are just my make up staples.

Foundation

Mac Studio Fix Fluid foundation in NC15, this foundation never fails me, its just the perfect foundation for me.

BB Cream/Tinted Moisturizer

On some days I just don't feel like wearing heavy foundation and I just want to wear something thats light but will give me some coverage. No7 Beautiful Skin BB Cream and Clinique Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturiser are perfect for giving me a good amount of coverage without being heavy. Also they are really easy and quick to apply

Concealer

Collection 2000 16 Hour Wear Concealer(you can't see then name of it because everything rubbed off) is my favourite under eye concealer even that its meant to be used for spots, but it work perfect as an under eye concealer for my.

Kiko Full Coverage concealer, great creamy, easy to apply and long lasting spot concealer. Perfect.

Finishing Powder

ELF Complexion Perfection powder, this powder doesn't have any complexion perfection properties, but its great for setting foundation and keeping it matt for a very long time.

Blush

NARS Deep Throat is my favourite blush of all times. Its just a great pick-me-up blush for me. No7 in 25 Petal is also a really nice everyday blush. Both of them have a very nice texture and they are really easy to apply. Another product I love to use as blush is Mac Wonder Woman MSF in Pink Power, however it was a limited edition so its very unlikely you will be able to find it.

Bronzer

Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronze Universal its just flawless. Want to know why I love it, click here.

Eyebrows

I use ELF Eyebrow Kit pretty much everyday since I got it, I don't like the wax which is on the left, but the eyeshadow on the right its just perfect.

Another product that I use to fill in my eyebrows is the MUA Eyebrow Pencil in Brunette, I usually use it when I'm in a hurry or I want to touch up my make up thorough out the day.

PLEASE NOTE: I don't own two of each product, I took two photos and then used Photoshop to put them together.

First Haul of 2012

My first purchase is the No7 Beautiful Skin BB Cream for Normal/Dry Skin. I was really excited when I heard about this product first back in November when Lisa Eldridge mentioned it in one of her videos.

I also went to my a Boots outlet store which happens to be really close to my house. Since I'm using retin-a I also have to use a good SPF to protect my skin from potential sun damage, so I picked up the La Roche-Posay 50+ Anthelios XL. I heard so much good stuff about this SPF and I was thinking about getting this back in a summer, but I ended up buying something else. I just couldn't buying it because it was marked down to £4 from i£17 which is a usual price. BARGAIN! This has a bit of a tint to it but it doesn't give any coverage. I aslo picked up two blushers one from No7 in shade 25 Petal which is a really pretty pink, the second blusher I got if by 17 and its in shade Brickie, I think this will make a really good contour colour since its not to warm or orangey.

Another thing that caught my eye are those Naturall Collection bath pearls, I remember getting them as a gift few years ago and I loved them, the best thing about them is that they were £1. BARGAIN!

Another shop I went into was Beauty Base, I wasn't looking for anything particular, just looking around. I ended up getting the La Color Mineral Pressed Powder and clear mascara. Also I got of the best smelling shower gel ever, its by this brand called Beautifully Delicious and its Papaya&Mango shower gel, Heaven!

I love fur accessories, thats why I was just so excited when I saw this fur tail in River Islands and it was even better when it turned out that it was priced down from £10 to £1. Thats what I call a bargain.

Last store I went into was Primark and clothes wasn't what I was after, I wanted to pick up some stuff for my room, I think that Primark has some great home decor items at reasonable prices. A while ago I saw a piece of wall art in Ikea which was a black and white canvas photo of Times Square with the yellow cab which I fall in love with but it was about £40! which I think is just insane. I was very pleasantly surprised when I saw this Union Jack photo canvas in Primark for £9 which I think is just amazing, I absolutely love it!  I also bought a dark brown throw for my bed by I could't get a good photo of it.

La Roche-Posay 50+ Anthelios XL £16.50 (I paid £4 at Boots outlet) Boots

Mini Haul 1

For past few months I wanted to try out the Revlon ColorStay foundation because lots of make up and beauty gurus say that its better than Mac Studio Fix Fluid, so since Mac Studio Fix Fluid makes me break out like crazy every time I use it, I decided to try Revlon ColorStay. Mine is for Combination/Oily Skin in 150 Buff which is a perfect shade for me, its beigy with a hint on yellow.

I also picked up a Natural Collection eyeshadow in Milk Chocolate to fill my eyebrows with, however its slightly to dark, but perfect for a "no make up" make up look.

I also picked up some make up sponges to apply my Revlon ColorStay with.

Finally I picked up a new mirror, but its not just any mirror. Its the No7 Illuminated Make Up Mirror. The two reasons I decided to get this particular mirror, first is that I was tried of using a standard mirror and a lamp to get a good lighting  and second that it was on offer, normally its £49.99, but currently its on offer for £19.99 . Personally I don't think that its worth the full price, but at £19.99 its just an amazing bargain.

Revlon ColorStay Foundation - £12.49 from Boots
Natural Collection Eyeshadow - £1.79 from Boots
No7 Illuminated Make Up Mirror - £19.99 from Boots
Make up sponges - £0.99 from discount UK

xoxo :-)
