"Karl" by Karl Lagerfeld - The New Mix ft. Anja Rubik
"The New Mix" is a promotional video for the new, more affordable line by Karl Lagerfeld called "Karl". I absolutely love the sparkly jacket that Anja wears. The range is available from NET-A-PORTER and they ship internationally.

My go-to make up products.
Below is a list of my go-to make up products that I use pretty much everyday. This are just my make up staples.
Foundation
Mac Studio Fix Fluid foundation in NC15, this foundation never fails me, its just the perfect foundation for me.
BB Cream/Tinted Moisturizer
On some days I just don't feel like wearing heavy foundation and I just want to wear something thats light but will give me some coverage. No7 Beautiful Skin BB Cream and Clinique Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturiser are perfect for giving me a good amount of coverage without being heavy. Also they are really easy and quick to apply
Concealer
Collection 2000 16 Hour Wear Concealer(you can't see then name of it because everything rubbed off) is my favourite under eye concealer even that its meant to be used for spots, but it work perfect as an under eye concealer for my.
Kiko Full Coverage concealer, great creamy, easy to apply and long lasting spot concealer. Perfect.
Finishing Powder
ELF Complexion Perfection powder, this powder doesn't have any complexion perfection properties, but its great for setting foundation and keeping it matt for a very long time.
Blush
NARS Deep Throat is my favourite blush of all times. Its just a great pick-me-up blush for me. No7 in 25 Petal is also a really nice everyday blush. Both of them have a very nice texture and they are really easy to apply. Another product I love to use as blush is Mac Wonder Woman MSF in Pink Power, however it was a limited edition so its very unlikely you will be able to find it.

Bronzer
Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronze Universal its just flawless. Want to know why I love it, click here.
Eyebrows
I use ELF Eyebrow Kit pretty much everyday since I got it, I don't like the wax which is on the left, but the eyeshadow on the right its just perfect.
Another product that I use to fill in my eyebrows is the MUA Eyebrow Pencil in Brunette, I usually use it when I'm in a hurry or I want to touch up my make up thorough out the day.
PLEASE NOTE: I don't own two of each product, I took two photos and then used Photoshop to put them together.
Another haul and few bargains.
I didn't mean to go shopping today, but I had to go to Westfield in Stratford to get a birthday gift for my cousin, so I decided to had a look around the shops and see if I will like anything.
First I went into Zara and let me just tell you, Zara has the best sales ever, about 85% of the stock was on sale, AMAZING, I know. However I only picked up a t-shirt, I love Zara t-shirts, they are really good quality. The one I picked up is dark blue colour light jersey and it very sheer, you can see skin though it. LOVE IT. On and it has a very deep crew/v neck. Original price was £17.99 but I paid £4.99.
Then I went into Topman, I wanted to get a dark denim shirt, but I didn't found anything that grabbed my attention. However I ended up getting two necklaces and a ring. First necklace is definitely a statement necklace. I was looking for something like this for a while now. Best thing about it is the price, originally it was £30 but it was a £1! in sale. Thats what I call a bargain.
Yeah, I know its crazy and I love it. I also got another necklace which is more of a every day necklace, at least for me. It also was a £1.
Here are some photos where you can see the necklaces on me. The picture quality is not so great because I took them with my I-Sight on my MacBook.
Last thing I got from Topman is this ring. Again it was a £1.
I also went into Primark as I was looking for some decor stuff for my room, but I didn't find anything that I liked. I just got this brown braided belt. It will look perfect with black skinny jeans and sheer blue shirt. £3.
I went into Mac, which wasn't a good idea because I knew that there is no chance that I will walk out of Mac store empty handed. Actually I wanted to get the Mac Full Coverage cream foundation, but its available only from the Pro Store in Soho. Instead I decided to get my favourite foundation of all times; Mac Studio Fix Fluid. I got it in NC15 which is a perfect match for me. The make up artist that was serving me asked me twice if I wanted to get the pump for it, but I was like "no I have one at home", but as soon as I got home it turned out that its just disappeared and I don't have it. Oh and if you are not familiar with Mac and you thinking why I'm talking about a pump, basically Mac Studio Fix Fluid foundation doesn't come with a pump and you have to buy one.
Zara t-shirt - £4.99
Topman skull necklace - £1
Topman gold necklace - £1
Topman ring - £1
Primark brown braided belt - £3
Mac Studio Fix Fluid foundation in NC15 - £19.50

Favourite iPhone apps
Below is my list of must have iPhone apps:
Facebook, I don't think I even have to explain why.
Tweetdeck, amazing app for Twitter and Facebook
H&M app, this is an amazing app, because it always notifies you about the latest in-store and online offers, but also because when you shake the app most of the time you will get some money off voucher, like 50% off jackets of £10 knitwear. You get the idea, right?
Instagram just lets you add the most beautiful effects to any photos and share with the world.
Photoshop Express, amazing for on-the-go photo editing.
Last but not least, iPod and Mail. If Apple would ever decided to delete all apps and leave just those two, I wouldn't mind. I still be able to keep in touch with others and stay entrained for hours.

Chanel Bronze Universel for almost a tripple of the price? No thank you!
I just had a quick search to see if the Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronze Universel is available in UK, but its sold out everywhere. However I also had a look on eBay and people are selling Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronze Universel for about £60-£80 which is more than a double of the original price which is £29!!! This is just ridiculous.
Tip: If you really want to buy the Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronze Universel and have friends, family or anyone who you know in UK or even abroad ask them to buy it for you and have them to send it to you, it still will work out much cheaper. Also I just checked and Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronze Universel is avalible on the French Sephora website, you can order it and have it shipped to UK for about €15 and the bronzer is €37.50, all together is about £43 which works out so much cheaper than getting it from eBay, plus you know that the product is 100% genuine. Available from here (the website is in french, but you can use google translate to translate it to any language you want)

Goodbye tried skin - Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation
Rimmel Wake Me Up is the latest addition to the Rimmel foundation range. It will be officially available in UK from the 25th January, however you get it now from the Boots.com website.
This foundation sounds like (yet another) miracle product:
-Helps skin restore and revive
-It has a very light texture, evens out the skin tone and its none pore blocking
-Easy and pleasant to wear
-Contains light reflecting particles and peptides
-Zinc, magnesium and potassium contributes to functioning of skin cells
-Contains vitamins such as: A,C,E
-Also its packed with antioxidants and contains hyaluronic acid which deeply moisturisers the skin
-Skin is left feeling fresh with a non cakey very natural finish and stays flawless for up to 10 hours
Yes, this definitely sounds like a miracle in a bottle. Am I the only person who thinks this is a cheaper version of the famous Chanel Vitalumiere? It seams to have similar properties. I will definitely try this foundation as soon as it available and let you all know that I think about it.

Inspiration:Marilyn Monroe
Here are just few screenshots from the Marilyn Monroe make up tutorial by Lisa Eldridge that I mentioned in my previous post, link here. It's almost like going behind the scenes of creating a master piece, and a chance to have a sneak preview of the tools of the trade.

Review:Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronze Universel
This is definitely my all time favourite bronzer ever. I wanted to do this review for a while, but I knew that it was sold out pretty much everywhere in UK since Summer. However Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronze Universel is back in stock in UK(links below).
Overview
I bought this bronzer back in summer and used it pretty much every day since when I got it and you can hardly see that it was used, you really need a smallest amount of this. It has a bit of an orange tint to it, but it doesn't come out orange at all, no matter how pale you are, and let me tell you, I'm really pale. When I got it back in summer I had a bit of a tan and I ended up using it as a foundation, because I didn't faked tan my face , so I needed something that will look like a tan, and not like a foundation. Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronze Universel is just perfect for that. If you looking for a bronzer that you will use strictly for contouring then go and look for something else because as I mentioned it has a orange tint to it. However its just amazing for giving yourself a nice healthy bronzed look.
Packaging
As with any Chanel product, you get a very nice expensive looking packaging. Its not too heavy, not too light made out of plastic that actually looks like frosted glass. It will look lovely on any vanity/dressing table.
Consistency
Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronze Universel is neither a powder or cream, its a mousse, but a very firm mousse. Its very blendable and easy to work with, also it doesn't set too quickly. I notice that it picks up hair and dust like crazy so you have to make sure you screw the lid on really tight.
Application
Here my three favourite brushes that I use for applying Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronze Universel.
This has to be favourite brush to use with Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronze Universel. I usually use this brush when I want to apply it to certain areas on my face, like the hollow of the checks, temples and chin. Its made out of synthetic hair and its really soft, also it allows you build up the bronzer.
Even that this brush is meant to be used for powder I still use it for Bronze Universel. I usually use it when I want to apply Bronze Universel all over my face, for example when I fake tan my body, but I don't fake tan my face. Also I sometimes use it just on the outer parts of my face with a light hand just to give my face a bit colour and warmth.
I usually use this brush when I want to apply Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronze Universel all over my face, but I want a very light application because this brush its not as dense as the ELF Studio Powder Brush.
Below are few tutorials showing ways how this can be applied in different ways.
All over application
Contouring
Colour payoff/Swatches
This is a very buildable product, you can apply a very light barely visible layer, or you can build it up very dark, but it still would look very natural, the darkest I have gone with this bronzer would probably be close to NW25.

Debenhams http://bit.ly/xVKXzZ
House of Fraser (Not available on the website)
John Lewis (Not available on the website)
Selfridges (Not available on the website)
I couldn't find any international stockists as it seams like its sold out every where, but if you have a Sephora, Douglas or any department store that sells Chanel in your country, then just most likely they will be stocking Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronze Universel.

Price
In UK Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronze Universel retails for £29.00. It seam like a lot, however you get 30 grams, so you pay about £10 for 10 grams, if you would buy a MAC bronzer, you would pay about the double for a same amount. I think Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronze Universel is totally worth every penny.

H&M Spring 2012 Favs
H&M is my favourite high street retailer, I just love them, they have great clothes at even better prices. I have recieved the H&M Spring 2012 catalogue and I have picked my favourite looks and pieced from the Spring collection. You can order the catalogue for free here.
I love this look, its very simple but look cool and smart at the same time.
I really like grandad top, they can look very casual and smart, depends what you wear with it. It seams like H&M is the only high street retailer that does them at reasonable price or even the only high street retailer that sels them.
I think that this is a perfect outfit for a casual lunch or dinner with friends or family in town and also its perfect for Spring. It would probably look really good with a tanned skin, fake tan time!
Those shorts and the top are on my must-have Spring/Summer list!
I love accessories probably even more than clothes because I think that the right accessories can transfer every outfit from boring to fab. An those shoes are definitely a spring must have.
Those desert boots are just amazing, I saw them if H&M few days ago, but they didn't had my size in stock, but I will definitely get them at some point.
